友好プログラム概要

JAOとドイツアマオケ連盟との友好プログラムについて

JAO長年の念願であった海外のアマチュアオーケストラ連盟組織との交流が、このたびの全国大会から実質的にスタートすることになりました。今回はドイツアマチュアオーケストラ連盟（Bund Deutscher Liebhaberorchester：略称BDLO）から7名のプレイヤー（引率含め総勢10名）がJAOフェスティバルオーケストラに加わって演奏することになっています。さらに、1997（平成9）年5月16日から20日にかけて予定されているBDLOの全国オーケストラキャンプ（ドイツにて開催）に、JAOからの10名程度の派遣要請が先方からありました（詳細は未定）。

両連盟の関係がこのように緊密になったのは、昨年（1995年）5月にドイツ・ホイゼンシュタム市で開催されたBDLO総会にて、両連盟間の情報・資料等の交換、人材交流を柱とする「友好プログラム」が承認・締結されたことによるものです。

当日JAOからは森下元康理事長と寺部信行本部理事が出席し、市長立会いのもとで、経過報告とプログラムの承認、森下氏とヨアヒム・コンラーデイBDLO理事長の署名交換が行われました。同プログラムには、両連盟の不断の協力と友好を明記した前文と8つの条文が英語で書かれています。

外国のアマチュアオーケストラ連盟との正式な交流は、JAOにとって初めての体験であるだけでなく、日本のアマチュア音楽団体としても大変珍しいケースです。

「世界青少年オーケストラ協議会」（The World Youth Orchestra Conference）が森下氏の提唱によって設立されてから5年、JAOは一般部門の国際交流に着手しようとしています。

なお、BDLOは1924年設立、385の会員からなる連盟組織で、うち約45%は管弦楽演奏が可能なオーケストラです。

Outline of JAO- BDLO Friendship Program

The Federation of Japan Amateur Orchestras Corporation (JAO) is about to start international exchange substantially with overseas organization of amateur orchestras. That is to say, seven players( 10 persons totally including coordinator) sent by German Amateur Orchestras Association (Bund Deutscher Liebhaherorchester e.V.: BDLO) are joining JAO Festival Orchestras of National Festival of Amateur Orchestras in Tokyo. Moreover BDLO is asking JAO to send up to 10 players to attend national orchestra camp in Germany during May 16-20, 1997. This close communication between these organizations derives from "Friendship Program" which was recognized and concluded at the general assembly of BDLO which was held in Heusenstamm, Germany on May 6,1995 so as to promote intercultural exchange of players as well as information. From JAO chairman Motoyasu Morishita and manager Nobuyuki Terabe was sent to Germany. After an explanation of the outline, the program was recognized with unanimous applause in the presence of the mayor of Heusenstatnm. Finally both chairpersons-Mr. Morishita and Dr. Joachim Conradi-signed memorandums written in English. This memorandum consists of preface longing for eternal partnership and eight concrete texts. It might he very rare that Japanese volunteer body of classical music has formal tie with overseas organization on equal terms. Five year has passed since the establishment of the World Youth Orchestra Conference in 1991 proposed by Mr. Morishita. JAO is finally setting about international exchange of adult players.

*BDLO, established in 1924, consists of 385 bodies all over Germany.

About 45% out of 385 bodies is able to perform symphonic ensemble.
